A Community of Womxn and Non-Binary Folx in UX

Boston, Massachusetts

The Hexagon UX Boston chapter came together in September 2019. As Boston’s UX community expands, our focus is fostering an environment where networking and mentorship relationships will help close the gender gap and cultivate strong leaders in the design and UX community. Our events include speaker presentations, panels, monthly meets, and mentor speed-dating!

Since the world has gone remote, the Boston channel has partnered with many non-profits focusing on diversity in tech and design. Our partnered events have featured focus panels, monthly industry chats, and Twitter designer highlights. The most notable partners we’ve recently had include, Girls Who Code, Black Tech Pipeline, UXPA Boston, and Diversify Tech.

Boston Mentorship Program

Hexagon Boston is pleased to launch our next mentorship cohort incoming Spring 2022. Since the world has gone remote due to COVID-19, we’ve ensured our cohorts are adhering to hybrid sessions for both remote and distanced individuals.

Uncomfortable being in person? That is fine! We will be pairing mentees with mentors that can accommodate their comfort levels.

What does this mentorship include? We offer a 3-month mentorship program where gender diverse individuals in tech are matched with mentors based on compatibility with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Our program is committed to supporting the careers of all folx in tech by helping them create meaningful connections, build skills that foster success, and create a supportive community.
